BOSS guitar metal pedals?
I have a BOSS MT-2, and its a great pedal, but it has this weird, fuzzy kind of crappy sound to it that pisses me off. Whats another BOSS metal pedal that still has that high gain, compressed metal tone, but doesnt have that irritating fuzzy crap? Or is there a pedal from another manufacturer like MXR that’s good as well?
i always thought that the boss ds-2 had a pretty biting metal tone when i ran it through my low end solid state amp (crate 212). i’ve tried both pedals though, the ds-2 and the mt-2 and prefer them both actually but just for different applications.
sometimes if i can’t figure out how to get a certain sound, i’ll sleep on it and come back to it and i always end up coming up with something that feels right. there’s always more than one way to skin a cat as the saying goes.
